Oakhold is an ancient medieval castle perched above vast oceans and surrounded by towering trees. For a millennium it has stood as a beacon of civilisation — but something is changing. Deep beneath the roots of the Great Oak, a darkness stirs. The scholars call it the Unbinding. The dead do not stay buried. The castle walls that once felt impenetrable now tremble.

King Aldric needs people. Builders, fighters, gatherers, craftspeople. Anyone willing to roll up their sleeves and help keep Oakhold standing.

That is where you come in.



⚔ The Unbinding — A Progressive Questline

Oakhold's story is told through an evolving questline that grows with you. Begin with simple tasks for King Aldric and his companions — gathering ingredients, brewing serums, driving back the risen dead from the castle walls. As you prove yourself the story deepens, the stakes rise and the true nature of the Unbinding begins to reveal itself.

The questline is designed to be approachable for new players and progressively more challenging as you advance — culminating in The Unbinding Part 2: What Cael Carries, a multi-boss epic that will test even Oakhold's most seasoned defenders.

Every quest is told through immersive NPC dialogue, cinematic reward sequences and lore that makes Oakhold feel like a living world.

The castle itself is your hub — a stunning medieval fortress complete with a throne room, market, high council chambers, cathedral, barracks and more. Every corner has a character with a story to tell.

Beyond the castle walls lie four vast biome worlds to explore and survive in:

❄ The Frozen Wastes — Rich in iron and spruce. Deadly cold. Come prepared.
🌿 The Jungle — Dense, dangerous and full of resources. Watch the canopy.
☀ The Desert — Harsh sands hiding ancient treasure. Bring a good pickaxe.
◻ The Flatlands — Open plains perfect for farming and building.




🔱 What Cael Carries — The Unbinding Part 2

Something stirs in the woodland path between Oakhold and Oakhaven. A junior scout has been watching a cabin in the forest for months. The King will not listen. The High Council will.

What Cael Carries is Oakhold's second major questline — available exclusively to Champion rank players. Uncover the truth behind the Unbinding, complete four biome ritual rites, face four powerful bosses in an underground soul arena, descend into a dark nether castle and confront whatever has taken hold of Cael Dawnmore — Oakhold's most decorated soldier.

This is the only path to Elder.
