THE WORLD
Groundstone used to have it all. Iron in the mountains, diamonds in the depths, gold running through the stone. Then the Builders left, and the Decay started. The ores went first. Then the stone itself turned hollow and pale. The forests are still here. The rivers still run. But everything that made this place livable is gone.
Except for one person who never left.
THE RIFTWARDEN
He's the last of the Builders, and four times a day he walks out to the arch at spawn and tears a hole straight through reality. What comes out is a Rift: a pocket of an untouched world, still glittering with everything Groundstone lost. It doesn't stay open long. When it closes, it takes whatever you left inside with it.
HOW IT WORKS

[*]No second chances. No respawning loot. Every run is final

This is an extraction loop built on top of a real, persistent home world. You go in, you grab what you can, and you bring it home to rebuild what the Decay took. Do that enough times, and you'll start finding pieces of something else too: the truth about what actually caused the Decay in the first place. The Rifts aren't just full of loot. Some of them remember things.
We're not telling you what that means yet.
