Sticks and Stones SMP

Sticks & Stones is a long-term survival SMP built for players who want their progress to matter.

There are NO seasons and NO scheduled world resets. The world has a 30-million-block border and is intended to remain our permanent survival world for years to come.




Technical Minecraft is welcome.

The SMP runs on Paper for stability and performance, but it has been extensively configured to preserve vanilla redstone behavior and game mechanics as closely as reasonably possible.

Our Paper CMP mirrors the relevant SMP configuration so farms, redstone contraptions, and other technical builds can be tested before committing resources to them in survival.

A separate Fabric CMP with Carpet is also available for technical testing and analysis.




There is NO economy plugin, virtual currency, or admin shop.

Trade is based on actual Minecraft items, direct player-to-player trading, and player-operated shops.

Players determine prices through supply, demand, production, and trade.

Marketplace access is earned through voting — it is not sold through the webstore.

Active claims and legitimate builds are protected and respected. Standard claims are subject to inactivity expiration so genuinely abandoned land can eventually return to the world rather than remaining permanently locked.

The live server and backups are stored on separate physical drives. The host is protected by a UPS and configured to cleanly stop the Minecraft servers during an extended power outage.

We're building Sticks & Stones for the long term, and the infrastructure is maintained with that goal in mind.




The focus is survival, building, technical Minecraft, exploration, progression, trading, and community — not anarchy or constant PvP.

Build independently, collaborate with other players, participate in community projects and events, run a marketplace shop, or spend months working on a massive technical project.

Your progress isn't going to disappear because a new "season" starts.
