The Anchor is striving to be that for you, and we've just gotten started.

This SMP was made after I visited several Servers over the years and wanted an experience where the community felt like they were seen and acknowledged by staff. Where reworks that would drastically effect how the players progressed, were being vetted by the same people; ensuring a change that would become widely accepted. "What can I expect when I join?"

Within The Anchor, you can expect a path for those who like their hand held with unique server-aspects; as well as a path for those who are just ready for a new Survival Server. We like to highlight our Rank and Claim System, as players want to know whether they're recognized for their time as well as if anything can happen to their builds when away. Our Ranks are Playtime-Based and are separated by long periods between them as our Overworld will Never Reset, although we do provide a Resource World with a Monthly Reset. As for Claims, you should know that your builds are a top priority within The Anchor; and anything claimed is permanent after hitting the Second Rank, and no matter what is not able to be griefed.

"Is there anything that can separate me from other players?"

A big hit with our few regulars is the Tag System. With keys earned through Voting or the Vote Shop, you can unlock a crate that grants you one of 42 Unique Tags to display right next to your username! You can collect them all or in the future, withdraw and trade them for more valuable ones other players may have (or become a tycoon and sell them in our Player Shops).

"Is that all?"

Of course not, The Anchor is ready to go for you with a Jobs System that actively supports a fresh Economy that's ready for players to take advantage of. With that comes a separate branch for more grind-heavy players with mcMMO, and a growing leaderboard to go alongside it. And as always, our server is very focused on Community Feedback, with Change Logs and Suggestion Channels to read and give your thoughts out publicly to players and staff alike in our Discord Server; for new features or opinions on existing ones.
