Geck SMP: Vanilla+ Community Servival

Kerazand Tales, a Geck SMP server with seasonal expansions.

The mission is simple: to keep Minecraft survival close to vanilla while adding just enough quality-of-life improvements and balanced tweaks to keep things fun, fair, and community-driven.



Server Philosophy

• Vanilla+: Stays true to core Minecraft with some light QoL features.
• Community-First: A laid-back survival environment where collaboration matters.
• Progressive Seasons: The world expands over time, with new structures via datapacks added to encourage exploration.



Rules

1. Keep the world clean (no 1x1 towers, lavacasts, etc).
2. Be respectful in chat.
3. No scamming, tricking players into PvP, or stealing from claims.
4. No cheating (x-ray, hacked clients, unfair mods).
5. Don’t bypass the /claim system to grief or steal.
6. Use common sense.

Notes:
- Stealing/light griefing in unclaimed areas is allowed—protect your base with `/claim`.
- PvP is allowed outside of claims, but tricking players into PvP is not.

Enforcement:
- 1st Offense: Warning
- 2nd Offense: 24h Ban
- 3rd Offense: Permanent Ban
(Some severe offenses may result in an immediate ban.)



Quality of Life Features

• `/home` – Teleport home (cost: 1 Amethyst Shard)
• `/sethome` – Set your home (cost: 1 Clock) [Beds work too]
• `/tpa & /tpahere` – Request teleport (cost: 1 Amethyst Shard)
• `/back` – Return after death (cost: 1 Compass)

Additional Improvements:
• TreeFeller – Chop whole trees at once (uses full durability).
• Veinminer – Unlockable enchantment to mine ore veins.
• Instanced Loot – Loot chests are per client, so enjoy exploring together.
• Death Chests – Drops a chest on death (15 min timer, lootable by others).
• Creeper Explosions – Still hurt players but no terrain damage.
• Claims – Protect your builds and set rules for your land.



The Roadmap of Kerazand

Kerazand is a world that will grow with its community.

Season 1: The First Settlers
• World border: 3k x 3k
• Pure vanilla survival start
• Slots: 20–30 players

Season 2: Beyond the Veil (approx. 1 month later)
• Border expands to 5k x 5k
• New structures introduced via datapacks (Structory, Tidal Towns, Dungeons & Taverns)
• Slots: 30–35 players

Season 3: The Final Frontier (approx. 3 months later)
• Border expands to 7.5k x 7.5k (permanent world size)
• More structures and datapacks in outer rim
• Nether & End expansions
• Slots: 35–50 players
