About This Server
HorrorCraft — Explore the Worlds of American Horror Story
Every season. Every location. Even the ones you forgot.
HorrorCraft is a Java exploration server dedicated to recreating locations from American Horror Story and other horror movies and television series in Minecraft.
Our entire American Horror Story world is complete and open to explore.
And when we say entire, we don't just mean the famous locations.
Of course you'll find Murder House, Briarcliff Manor, Miss Robichaux's Academy, the Freak Show, Hotel Cortez, Roanoke, Camp Redwood and the other major settings from the series.
But you'll also find the small stuff: houses, businesses, restaurants, hospitals, offices, schools, streets and obscure locations that may have only appeared for a scene or two.
If you remember it from AHS, go looking for it. There's a good chance it's here.
What is HorrorCraft?
HorrorCraft is primarily about exploration and recreation. Instead of dropping you into another survival world, we've built a massive collection of places from the AHS universe that you can actually walk through and explore.
Visit the Murder House.
Walk the halls of Briarcliff.
Explore the Hotel Cortez.
Wander around Camp Redwood.
Track down locations from Cult.
See how many obscure locations you can recognize without looking them up.
We've recreated both exteriors and interiors wherever possible using references from the series.
What's Next?
With the AHS world built, we're now working toward making it more interactive.
Our next major goal is introducing NPCs, quests, discoveries, collectibles and storylines throughout the different seasons, giving players more to uncover while exploring the world.
We're also beginning to expand beyond American Horror Story.
Future HorrorCraft projects will bring locations from other major horror movies and television series onto the server, with the same focus on detailed recreation and exploration.
Builders & Quest Developers
We're also looking for people who want to help HorrorCraft grow.
Quest/NPC developers: Help us transform the completed AHS world into an interactive experience with characters, quests, exploration objectives and secrets.
Builders: Join us as we begin recreating locations from other horror properties. We're especially interested in builders who enjoy working from real-world or on-screen references and creating detailed interiors.
You don't need to be staff to join, though. Anyone is welcome to explore.
