About This Server
we are melioSMP – a trust-based, whitelisted survival server that offers near-vanilla gameplay with NO landclaims, NO warps/teleports, and NO money plugins. any plugins and datapacks we add have very minimal impact on gameplay mechanisms.
⛏ everything here runs on trust – we take the maintenance and upholding of this communal, mutual trust VERY seriously.
⛏ no griefing, no stealing, and no cheating – there aren't that many rules, aside from these. we rely on everyone to have mutual respect!
⛏ safe haven: we've been building our server of folks who joined in search of a mature, drama-free, and inclusive server.
⛏ custom world generation: there's one major plugin that affects gameplay – the world itself is powered by TerraformGenerator, and has been running since march 2024. we don't plan on stopping any time soon :)
⛏ we're all about community-driven initiatives here – the name melio comes from the word "meliorism", which is defined as: *the belief that the world gets better, the belief that humans can improve the world*.
