Islands Only Vanilla is vanilla Minecraft with retuned worldgen: one vast ocean, small scattered islands, and nothing handed to you.
Play this pack with others at server IP. ( play.islandsonlymc.com ) Vanilla clients only, nothing to install. Every new player spawns on their own distant island. Land claims are on (golden shovel, and your starter island is auto-claimed for you), plus block logging, so your builds are safe. 20 slots.

No new items, no new mobs, no new rules. Land is rare and resources are spread thin. Wood, stone, animals, crops - it's all out there, but never in one place. You'll travel and explore just to cover the basics, and every island you find matters.
Villages and the classic structures still generate, just rarer and farther between. Ice biomes still run wild. And the shipwrecks in the shallows sometimes hold charts to things worth the trip. Tough, quiet, honest survival. Requirements:

Open the Minecraft launcher, next click the "Play" button, then select "Multiplayer" from the main menu.Click the "Add Server" button to open the server information form then copy & paste the IP Address play.islandsonlymc.com in the "Server Address" box then press click on "Done" button.
Once the connection to the server is verified by Mojang session servers and is available, the connection icon will turn green and you can click on the "Join Server" button to play on Islands Only.
